David Simonson is the author of several books on the subjects of Jesus Christ and the benefits of living a life filled with daily simplicity.
David and his wife Nancy are currently living on the beautiful central Oregon coast. Together they have traveled throughout twenty-three western states. Always together with a joy and adventure for the life God has given them. Inside each day we see the awesome possibilities that surround us.
In their twenty-two years of marriage, they haved lived in a van for several months in the southwest deserts of Nevada. They have lived in an old station wagon for two months, in the lush back country of the central Oregon coast. They have hiked thousands of miles of western trails. Driven tens of thousands of miles and have kept a detailed map on their living room wall of every road they have traveled down. Together they have climbed several mountain peaks. They have fished and camped together hundreds of times. Together they lived nine years in the beautiful state of Colorado, and six years in beautiful Oregon.
Both David and Nancy were born and raised in the great state of Iowa. It is a very beautiful place to grow up. However, the travel bug caught them and down the road they went. Usually in an old van that cost around $1,000 dollars. And even today we continue to travel down life's adventurous and slower two-lane back roads.
David has never written one word in his life. He was always out enjoying life. And never once considered writing about it. Then through a personal experience with Christ, then he wrote his first book of 66 poems. Then after that almost twenty books flowed from a pen onto paper. David wrote almost twenty books in five years, through several thousand hours of toil.
I pray that these books will benefit your life as much as they have ours. I stand in awe as I watch Christ use these books to benefit the lives of many people so far, around the entire globe.

LIFETIME ACCOMPLISHMENTS SO FAR
Gave up our TV in 2002 and have not watched even a half hour since. This is one of the best decisions that we have ever made in our lives. We turned our minds back on!!!
Sent 500 bibles to china.
Gave away a 10,000 dollar house.
Donated 10,000 dollars to christian charities.
Lived in the rocky mts. of colorado for 9 years.
Lived in lasvegas nevada desert and strip for 4 months in a 1978 dodge van.
Lived on the central oregon coast 4 months in the siuslaw natl. forest out of a 1978 chevy station wagon.
Lived in iowa city iowa 4 years.
Traveled to 23 states west of the great mississippi river.
Drove a 1978 station wagon through 12 states-motor had 350,000 miles on it.
Married 24 years in 2010-together 26 years.
Driven through dozens of natl. forests throughout western united states.
Wrote and published all these books.
Drove accross idaho twice at 40 mph just for fun.
Visited redwoods, yellowstone and grand tetons, craters of the moon, crater lake, hoover dam, canyon lands, arches, grand canyon, black hills and mt. rushmore.
Passed out 5,000 christian tracts for christ as of 2007.
Read entire holy bible 10 times, some of my favorite books 100 times each.

CHRIST said-john 10:10 I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
Matthew 11:29-30 Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.
We are not bragging at all. We published this information in hopes to inspire other such simple men as myself. I am just a simple man but with Christ I have done some amazing things so far in my life. Now this would mean that you also can do amazing things in your life. If you knew me personally, I do not have a high education, I do not have special abilities of any kind, it was Christ and Christ only working through me.
We are not rich in money we are rich in CHRIST. We did all these things so far on an average of 20,000 / 25,000 income per year. GOD can use any simple man who is willing. We smile every day in love and joy!!!
